I am ill having to post this. 1940 lasted 20 years without a single scratch and I chipped it. I was removing the aftermarket headlight bucket and black mounting bracket, in preparation for a chrome bracket and the stock bucket. A wrench slipped, dropped down the side of the fender and left a tiny chip in her green paint.
When will I learn to buy and use aprons for when I'm working on these things? Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Berlin Bob saved my bacon the last time with a match for the Henderson Blue. Bruce bailed me out with some oyster to fix the Jennie. Who knows a good match for the green or has some they want to sell?
