I installed the Kuryakyn 7427 levers as per the recommendation of Greg.
A little background on the spoon design. It came from Trev Deeley the Canadian distributor for HD (Board Member) and owner of the Vancouver dealership of the same name. Trev was having arthritis issues making for clutch and brake issues. His team designed them and put them on the Trevster designed Sportster which. HD copied and later called the Roadster.
Trev was also instrumental in talking HD out of the Nova V4 project.

Interesting. I did not know the history of that shape. Thanks.
I have a Buell S3 and S2. The S2 uses traditional Harley controls on 1" bars. The S3 uses 7/8" bars and more conventional levers. Switching back and forth, it was odd how much nicer the controls felt on the S2, along with some good grips. That experience and the Kuryakyn levers being chrome were my reason for changing them on the Super Xs.
