Opening comments by President Mike Lock. Not any riding the last month, as the weather has turned to winter. Had a great time doing the raffle last month, and very successful. I would like o to thank to those that donated to this quickly thrown together event. I would like to send out Christmas letters to our members with EH paper that was donated to us by Chuck Barsness. We got 3 new members right before the raffle

Merchandising director report from Waz

Treasurer director report by Phil Paypal $404.10 Merchant Bank $335.25 for a total amount of $741.35

Events director report from Mike Seastrom With the completion of 2022 rally events season, looking forward to 2023, and starting it off in Elkton Virginia for Memorial Day. I have not started any West Coast or any other rallies yet. Will start working on them after first of year. It is possible we can have a fall rally in Arkansas, but nothing is complete at this time, and will have more information in future meetings on all Rallys in2023.

Service director report by Jamie Jones. Jamie got a call from Jim Turek about a wobble. Jim explained to Jamie that he replaced the front bearings, and still had the wobble. Jamie explained to him that the rear shock needed replacing, which confused Jim, but Jamie said, you need to do that. After Jim replaced rear shock, it cured the wobble! Jamie is recommending that we all need to replace front dampeners and rear shocks. Jamie explained that it will most likely need to be a EH service center that replaces the rear shock due to the amount of work it is to remove rear swingarm bolts, and he has his inverter that heats up just the bolt to make removal easier. Also, to note is the torque specs for rear swingarm bolts and nuts 158 ft lbs for bolts and 78 ft lbs for nuts. He made mention, that Jim said that his swingarm nuts were not tight on his bike.

New Business Discussion on the spanner wrench that was made last year. We had 25 made and are for sale. Our club paid $16.75 to make and was decided to sell for $29.95.   Was discussed how to sell. Mike Seastrom said he could put them on his website, EH parts, along with Facebook, maybe eBay. Jamie mentioned that Greg (the guy that made spanner wrench} and Jamie are in early stages of getting the belt alignment tool designed and priced. Discussion on having event insurance at our rally’s as in the past, and getting harder to find, will work on making sure we find, and have insurance at rallys, as before. Lock received an email from Jaarid Raulen who is opening a Veit automotive educational museum in Henderson Minnesota, check it out if in the area, might have an EH there. Discussion on what logos, old and new that we can use on shirts and items we sell going forward. Was thought we can use them with as have license from Hanlon Motor Company. Waz went to Old Bob Gerhardt funeral, said it was a very nice tribute to Bob. Need to get a tribute page going for all that have passed.
