Title: Clutch Question

I have a clutch assembly I picked up as a left over from a parted bike and threw it in a box thinking I may need it someday.
A thought just crossed my mind... I've had old bikes I've rescued where the clutch disks and metal plates kind of fused themselves together from years of sitting under the pressure of the clutch springs.
Was wondering how long I can leave a used clutch assembled before I have to worry about the plates sticking together and turning this into one massive paperweight.
Is this a real concern or am I overthinking this?

Over thinking...our stuff is pretty more modern now !
