Hi!
It's time to replace the isolators of my #1700 as it suddenly kept vibrating very hard; changing both front isolators was quite easy (I believe) and I had no vibrations left.
I want to take the chance and change rear too, but my bike seems a bit different from the manual: the picture is taken from above, left side and shows like a "cup", what I can't see in pag 4 of the manual.
I unscrew the engine mount nut (#2), the screw (#3), I can see the cup (#6) and the isolator (#5) from ouside but nothing came loose (from behind) and I couldn't guess how go any further.
Anyone had some experience?

It's been years since I had a Super X engine out of the frame so I'm going on memory...
I personally would not worry about the rear mounts. The front mounts allow the engine to move up and down. The rear mounts are very different. They are more of a torsional rubber mount. They allow the front of the engine to shake up and down but, rotate around the rear mounts. As a result, the rear mounts should last almost forever. Someone with more miles will come along now and say that they've seen otherwise.
With that said, the rear mounts are on a long pivot shaft (as shown in the parts manual). You remove the chrome cups. Next remove the socket head cap screws underneath them. At that point I think you need to raise or lower the engine to clear the shaft from the mounts. When you slide the pivot shaft (#8) out of the casting, the spacers (#7) come loose. Once those are loose, you can slide the black cups inward and remove them. The rubber isolators are inside those cups.
