Does anyone know how to plug the hole below the chain tensioner on the rear cylinder ?? And with what ?? thanks
-
Bob, you made me go look and I came back to say there was no plug. Then I looked at the parts manual and saw a little hole between the fins in the diagram. What the heck is that even for? Is it an oil passage? Why is yours missing a plug?

Greg...the new cylinders do not have the plug...I contacted Mike Seastrom and he's has found them in his parts !!!! It is located on the
rear cylinder under the chain tensioner in between the fins ...you'll have to get a mirror and flash lite to find it

But what is it plugging? What's behind it? I've never heard of one leaking oil.

OIL flow

it is an oil passage that had to be plug because of the machining so the pump can service tranny under the cylinder and upper rear head
as per the oil flow chart
