Title: 8352 tune ???
Post by: berlin bob on January 08, 2025, 10:11:36 AM
I have two ecm's with 8352 tune...installed one on a bike and the idle is too high ...I have the  superx tune program and it confirmed
the tune on the computer with the serial number as normal... I do not have the key code for either computer ...i need to make adjustments
myself... does anyone know how to adjust idle without key code ???   thanks for any help   the examinator is useless

Bob...
Agreed Examinator is useless..... well maybe for shooting trouble codes. I myself have been very wary of the examinator, as I heard someone lost there tune due to that device, didn't recognize it... etc. etc...
I don't know of anyway to adjust any of the tunes without a key, other than Duane Judge and/or Mike Seastrom putting your ECM's on their programs, which do not require passkey.
But then again I'm far from a computer wizard.... Maybe someone on here has an idea...
Just a thought.... maybe pull the IAC and give a it a good cleaning? I had one out of New Mexico with the same issue.... although I got it figured out on the super X tune eventually... I did monkey around with the IAC, which did help.
Wow.... been a lot of years since then... these 25 years went quickly

Bob.... sorry about the delayed answer.... somehow I missed this....
Yep back in the day an owner could buy a key, long cord, CD.... and tune their bike with the latest and greatest from their PC....
Now, you send your X or ECU to Mike Seastrom or Duane Judge, and they'll update it for you.

I'm not really sure what the Xaminator would be worth as a collectible. I've seen them here and there with prices all over the place. As I'm sure you've seen with other  parts on ebay. Crazy market currently...

Sorry I'm not much help Bob...
