Sure have. A buddy of mine knows the Dickheads.  Randy Jones. Are you a member of Will County ABATE?  I'm the Safety and Ed coordinator for the chapter.

I dont recognize the name, but Im sure I know the guy.
You know my friend Panhead and his dad Oscar (I worked with oscar in the early 90's), they are both long time abate members. Im not a member myself however. Are you still meeting at harwood? Or is it Stone city now?
You probably also know Denny and the late Gene Williams as well as his boy I would assume?
Ask Mike about Bam-Bam next time you see him, he will fill you in.

I know who Panhead is, but I haven't really spoken to him much.

We still meet at the Harwood post.

Welcome Kevin,
I live pretty close to you guys too, I'm in LaGrange Highlands. I had an EH about 3 years ago and sold it. I just bought another one that's pretty much a duplicate of what I had, green/oyster.

Wow, I was trying to be different  ;D,and get away from the HD twinkie guys, and there is 3 X owners right in my area, within 25 miles? I will say that I think its a nice bike, and loud with the straight pipes.  I dont think Ive seen on around here ever, which makes sense given the production would put only 30 or so per state at best.

Welcome aboard, I'm John and owner of 791 in the Midway area.  I got tons of books and info that I can get to you.  Us IL guys should plan a ride, some lunch and BS with each other to learn, humor and talk about our machines.  Who's in?

Holy cow, another Il guy?  Gonna have to sell this here X before somebody who knows me accuses me of being trendy  :). Illinois Xr's are probably a tighter group cause were used to sticking together to fight our filthy politicians. >:(
I bought this to wear when riding my X

LOL, I love it!
Lets see if Illinois can actually figure out how to let us carry before the deadline. I doubt it.

Sounds like a good idea.  I know of one other in Brookfield and another in Arlington Heights.  I don't know if either one frequents this board though.

Illinois is so dysfunctional that they wont be able to agree to anything. We are going to end up a "constitutional carry" state as long as you have a foid card. They will end up restricting where you can carry( which will be most everywhere ) but that is about it. They have had 6 months to do it, and only 2 weeks left to do it. Watch future Gov. Madigan try to make a play to the US supreme court, which wont hear it.

...Um, the lady who wanted to print the name and address of every FOID holder in Illinois in the paper? Yea, I don't think that is going to happen. We've got a secret weapon called Dan Rutherford.

Nice shirt, Cook or should I say Crook County really sucks with their ridiculous taxes. We should have a get together, that would be fun! Sorry it took me so long to reply, I haven't been on here in a while. So we should plan a get together soon!

Welcome,
I hope you're enjoying your new bike! I do like southern Illinois as far as the scenery goes, never been to NC but I'm sure it's nice there too. Good luck with your new toy.
