I am a new owner and just wanted to say hey.  I have already gotten a very hearty welcome from Marty and Jamie.  This seems like a great community and I am happy to get involved.

Yes, I am out east. North Carolina to be precise. How do folks around here describe their bikes? Is it VIN or production number? VIN is 1148, production number is 1738.  She is registered here under the previous owner.

Most of us go by vin...

Production numbers do get hard to follow...eg

Mine is 525..... But off the line 310...

Go by the V.I.N.... Easier...

 S/N 960 = 896 " "
S/N 129 = 695    "     "
