I just stumbled across this Deadwood Special on eBay in England. I wonder what number bike this is and if it shows up in any of the registries. (This might be a number previously missing from the registries).

Wow. Looks like it has an air cleaner upgrade, original key switch and ...original tires? Must be 5500 km. Thought all the Deadwoods were 2000's.
Any chance this was one of the handful of 2000's built in 99 for photos?

The listing claims it's #1575 out of 1951 made. If that's the last 4 of the VIN, it was registered in the UK as a 2000, according to Super X Owners registry.

John,
You are so right.....I missed the number when I read the description. And 1575 should be a 2000 model year. Makes you wonder what the history is and how it ended up across the pond.

And the registry does show it being in the United Kingdom. I know a few made it to Sweden, didn't know they made it to England as well.

Couple over in the U.K.... About 40-50 in Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia... One in Switzerland (Bruno)...
Jumper ::)

Are the ones exported to the UK right-hand drive?
