Does anybody know how to knock out the baffles of the stock exhaust system? I have tried putting them right side up (and upside down) and placing some rebar on and hitting it with a sledge hammer. Nothing seems to budge at all, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Been awhile but if I remember right if you look in from the outlet side you will see a freeze plug looking area. Knock one of those out and try it. Remember there is no going back. If you are in an area with sound issues or checks beware. Might want to find a different set of pipes. So if you get busted you can revert back to stocks.

Are there any write ups on how to do this? The "Freeze caps" don't seem to budge when hit straight on

None that I know of... as it pretty much self explanatory.
until that first spotted is broke, it may seem that it isn't going to come out.
stick the end of the muffler on a piece of wood for support straight up and down.
And rack that rebar hard with a 2 pound hammer.
look down the hole and try to have the rebar closr to a side...preferably where the spot Weld is...

Jokes on you, im a youngster, no wife. Thanks for the replies guys, just needed to use the 3lb hammer and not the sledge hammer that I started with. Came out in under a minute.
