Title: THEFT ALERT - EH Clothing on eBay or CL in the Atlanta Area

Flying home from Maggie Valley today out of ATL...rental car was broken into in the hotel parking lot and they went through the sealed up box (ready for the flight home) in the trunk.  They got NOTHING of value to them...but worth a lot to an X rider. 

They got:

-a heavy black leather vest with the EH Road Club-California colors
-a heavy black leather vest with the EHRC-X Men colors...the one with the big embroidered 'X Twin' motor (Calif. Rocker on bottom)
-a Factory 'Road Crew' black denim jacket
-a lighter black leather jacket
-a duffle bag with numerous factory EH t-shirts, including one with the Pike's Peak (CO) dealer's logo on the back

Get this...there was a Harley denim vest and my HOG chapter leather vest...THOSE they left behind!!!

I filed a local police report, but most of these items cannot be replaced.

Man that sucks. Just when I start thinking that the world isn't all bad....
Will keep an eye out on flea bay and CL.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I think someone at the hotel or one of the neighboring hotels is involved.  I asked my gf if she wanted me to bring her bag from the trunk up to the room for her to rearrange the stuff she had in that bag with the one that was up in the room (weight balance...for those who don't travel with females), and she said, "No, I'll do it down here in the morning".  She had a new notebook and a lot of phoofy, high-end clothing in that bag.  Those that have met Lisa will know what I'm talking about... ::)

I'm thinking someone was listening.  We left nothing in view in the car except for my one denim jacket in the back seat, so I can't imaging anyone breaking in just for that item.

  Sure sounds suspicious to me. Most people don't even know about our bikes, so would have no idea what value there is in EH items. And it's really interesting they left the Harley stuff behind, stuff that's more easily sold.
  I spend a lot of time on both eBay and Craigslist. I'll keep an eye out as well.
