Title: wire spokes

Two of my real wheels spokes are rattling loose.  I can make the spoke as short as possible and it is still very loose.  Something is broken on the rim itself.  Any suggestions for repair.

Are the two spokes right next to each other?  Are they loose at the rim?  If yes to the 2nd question, it sounds like the nipples are broken and need to be replaced.  That means removing the wheel from the bike, then removing the tire and inner tube from the wheel and replacing the nipples.  While you're there, you might as well check the others and true the wheel.
