Anyone off the top of their head know the sprocket tooth counts for the belt as well as the primary gear reduction ratio? I see the owners handbook lists the transmission ratios but not the overall ratio.
I'm not convinced my Speedo is correct & I know the final overall ratio is close to 3.0:1 so I am asking the question

I don't know the ratio .
But I do know if your speedo hasn't been touched since built it's off.
Tim breidenbach used to have a calibration kit he'd loan out. Kind of pricey.as it wasn't getting borrowed much he sold it.
At a true 55, your X reads 60.
And from there it graduates less than 5 on slower speeds, and more respectively with speed.

I just mentally compensate myself. However, there has been some work and discussion on a plug-in electronic calibration device for our bikes. I know Sean Howard had come up with a little module, and was looking at producing a small number of adapters for our bikes. You might check with Jamie Jones at Atlantic EH, because if Sean produced them, Jamie would have them.

11% was the number tossed around in the early days.... If your going 90 MPH on an X... Enjoy the ride!!!
Hehehe..

I used GPS for speed & came up with 3.08. I see however on superxparts that they sell a 32T sprocket, & they mention replaces orig 32T or your existing 30T. My Speedo indication was off exactly this amount. So.....it sounds as if our Speedo was set up for a 32T on front sprocket but most bikes had a 30T. I need to count mine & see what I have for real. if out belts go bad where do we get one?

Jamie/Marty at Atlantic EH have the belt...
