sorry about any late reply franknsr....
anyone who drastically changes X's and may not know anything about them..... well this one gives me the heeby geebys....    I'm pretty sure this is the same one that was on ebay about 5 or 6 years ago....

from what I could see in the pictures then, was ghastly. it really make a guy think, "what did they do"....

Yea, I'm actually with you on this one; there are so few of these machines hat I think it is kind of a shame to chop or cut them up. That said, I do wish there were more around so we could make some rolling art or adventure touring EH's.

In my mind someone picked up a motor from the factory and built this chopper around it so we didn't loose a bike, but gained one. I realize that may be naive thinking, but it helps me sleep at night.

I "think" that this has S/N 732's engine. If I remember correctly, 732 was a Canada bound X that the Guy had to ship in pieces due to Canada not recognizing Excelsior-Henderson as a brand? Something like that 10-15 years ago... Anyway.. Hard tail Chopper Frame with an X engine on it. No mods done to it from what I gathered 4-5 years ago when it was for sale out of Alabama...
Still.. If I had the back for it, I'd of gotten it and put a killer X motor in it!!
