Yes that is him!! Oh thank you so much that is awesome. He was the best. A personality you?d never forget. The beard made him hard to miss haha
I am on Facebook so yes I?d definitely love to join! It?s daunting trying to find people without making them upset because death is really hard and we all seem to handle it differently. He?s on my mind a lot so I?d love to have more memories to hold tight when I?m missing him more than usual. I know he was friends with a lot of people in the biker scene from those days so I figured the biker groups would be the best place just wasn?t sure where to start. So this will be a big help!
Thank you so much, and I am Genevieve in real life. My initials are Gem so Gemy is a nickname from my dear friend. It?s nice to meet you virtually Bruce! I appreciate your help.

Found this in the heritage section, this thinks is Dave, but not 100% sure. Never met him but wished I did based on the stories I've heard. Trying to get into the photo section to see if there are more....

Gemy (for lack of a true name)
A very heart warming request. I've never met Panhead, but have seen his name around thru the years. I believe all good.....

If you don't mind, I'll post this on the more active facebook page for you. There are more older members of the community on there....

I don't know if you are on facebook or not. Just to let you know, you don't have to own an X to belong to the page. And generally they are a very welcoming group.

Hope this gets you what you request, and if I don't see your request on the facebook page I'll be more than happy to forward to an email address if you'd like. I'll try to get email addresses from those that respond also....

Good Luck,
Bruce Whitefoot

Hello, I've visited this site before but never posted. My grandfather, a die-hard XH man, passed away several years ago now and unfortunately, I don't have as many stories about him as I'd like.  :'( My family can be closed off about speaking of our passed-on relatives, so I try to limit bringing him up since it tends to bring more sadness than happy memories. I on the other hand mourn through memories, photos and/or sharing/hearing stories.
So, I come here hoping to stumble upon people who may have known him or knew of him. He was a big personality and spent a lot of time at rallies all over the country in the late 1990's/early 2000's. He went by "Panhead" or "Panhead Dave, had a big white Santa beard, blue twinkly eyes and a booming voice. If you were someone from that period that knows who I'm talking about, please reach out to me via email! Even if it's a bad story! I don't care I just want to know more about the man I adored that was taken far too soon. Or even just meet other people he knew. I've been wanting to do this for a while to see the life he lived but never knew where to start so I suppose here is as good a place as any. I'm grateful for any and all information I can get.

Bob...
Agreed Examinator is useless..... well maybe for shooting trouble codes. I myself have been very wary of the examinator, as I heard someone lost there tune due to that device, didn't recognize it... etc. etc...
I don't know of anyway to adjust any of the tunes without a key, other than Duane Judge and/or Mike Seastrom putting your ECM's on their programs, which do not require passkey.
But then again I'm far from a computer wizard.... Maybe someone on here has an idea...
Just a thought.... maybe pull the IAC and give a it a good cleaning? I had one out of New Mexico with the same issue.... although I got it figured out on the super X tune eventually... I did monkey around with the IAC, which did help.
Wow.... been a lot of years since then... these 25 years went quickly
