Speed Bleeders
« on: July 10, 2015, 08:16:42 AM »
Has anyone used Speed Bleeders for the brake and clutch fluid changes?  What sizes do I need to order?  The front brake is listed as  part # SB3824 (8).  The back brake and clutch are not listed.

geez.....
I'm supposed to be watching this sight and somehow I missed several postings....
including this one...
I don't know anything about speed bleeders.... I use a mitey vac... which I've had pretty good luck with.
If you are doing the clutch... be prepared for educational experience. That clutch line is a pain in the butt...
by hand I've have taken as long as a couple of hours of fooling around to get it to bleed. With the mitey vac.... on mine (525) its knocked it back to less than 30 minutes, but still will step backwards at times. ...

Other X's I have had no problems with.... snap and its done....
nerider2....    do I know you?

Looks like it need DOT 5 brake fluid, a silicone-based brake fluid, I'll check O'Reilly's.  I just ordered all three Speed Bleeders part #SB3824 and hope they work.
