Service on Transmission and Fuel Injectionr
« on: June 05, 2015, 02:07:09 PM »
I'm new to forum  and located near Milwaukee. My '99 SuperX I bought new and haven't ridden in years. Looking to have some repair done. The last I rode was about 2006. One of the gears was starting to get touchy shifting into and out.  Also, as I cruised into my driveway for the last time it conked out with what seemed like maybe an injection issue.  Only about 3,000 miles, otherwise like new and I'm looking to get it back going again. The local dealers I called no longer support SuperX. Any suggestions? Any known knowledgeable mechanics in Wisconsin or Chicago area? Many thanks.

I'm new too, but it looks like this is your best place to start:  http://www.excelsiorhenderson.com/pages/tech/partsservice.html

I've mailed back and forth to Marty at Atlantic.  I'm expecting to get the entirety of updates and service done with them this fall.

Try Midnight motorcycle (Adam Miller) out of MN. Dan Hanlon had pointed me in his direction. I had my bike up there last fall for all up dates. Put on about 600 miles so far and running good.
Adams contact info is in the tech section of this web site.

 Later.
New to the super X world.
