SH847 SERIES R/R KITS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
A lot of people are calling these the stator savers!
The series R/Rs do run the stators 100% cooler !

From Jack ..
The SH847 is a series R/R that does not shunt to ground.
I’ve bench tested these against a stock R/R,  100 degrees cooler on the stator windings
in identical tests.  It’s on my website if you want to see it.
If you need better dimensions I have a drawing I can send tomorrow.

SH847 series  This is the newest R/R from Shindengen ...
The same people who built the FH020AA and FH012AA so you know the quality is there.

These are 50 amp peak models that have been tested on the Rotax motored
Buell and Aprilia models and have been working great.

They have been running these on the 600 Ducati with no issues.
These are scarce but I have a pretty good line on them now. They go fast.

Again remember I can can make these harnesses any length!
Check the highlighted areas above for add on wire lengths for battery and stator.
Battery wires are 36" and stator wires are 12" that come in the stock kit.

The dimensions of the SH847 are as follows. 1.5" thick, W 4.75" x L 4.75"
Bolt holes center to center 4.0" Bolt holes are 2" from the non-connector side end.

Remember that stator leads can go any which way there is no polarity.
Also, the wire I use is tin covered copper marine grade wire which solders awesome.
Also, if you order a SH847 I bench test them all before they leave the shop.
The SH847 and shipping is expensive and there is no returns!

CIRCUIT BREAKERS ONLY AVAILABLE NOW.

THE NEW SH847 SUPER KITS ARE $199.95
plus $9.85 shipping and insurance.

Well I installed this regulator last weekend   :)
After installing a new stator on the bike !

Seems to be working really well sofar  :)
The Regulator was just warm to the touch after a long ride.

I Installed it under the bike using the oil cooler brackets
to hang the regulator from - mostly because it is larger
then the old one - It fits great there and and there was not a
lot of room to work and install the regulator in the original place
and I thought it would stay cooler if it wasn't by the engine and oil cooler.

Anyway Here are some pics and I will keep up updated !

Question: What is the sheaving (?) on the wires made from? It looks like a "cloth" type material and subject to moisture?. Just wondering... Looks like a good alternative!
