My bike is down electrically
« on: April 29, 2021, 01:24:34 PM »
Hello just wanted to explain my let troubles. maybe someone here can help. It's been down two years now. Originally the starter wanted to engage anytime the battery was connected. I began by replacing the relay that seemed to be causing the problem. From now seems to be deeper than that. I was one real lucky ones who had all the wires burn up just as ex hen went out of business. Battery cables short to ground. And Now it seems I need to do the wiring all over again with the cpu box as well. Anyway I can test  the black box? Any help would be appreciated guys thank you.

Welcome to the group. Sorry nobody has responded yet, but this site just came back online and folks are not quite used to checking in here again.

On to your issue... If you chased the issue down to the ECU you can get some help testing from Atlantic EH or possibly one of the guys in MN, assuming you are up that way. Might also want to check in on the Facebook site since a bunch of us hang out over there.

Since replacing the starter relay wheat is is doing? Still cranking when you hook the battery up? Have you eliminated the start button as a potential problem?

Duane Judge in Jordan, MN may be able to help you locally. Give him a call 434-426-2071.
If you don't get any satisfaction there, call Marty at Atlantic E-H in Virginia. 540-298-9310.
