Brake Pad Life

What's everyone getting for mileage on brake pads?
I only got about 8000 out of my last set of rear pads. I do use the rear brake semi-heavy but I use the fronts too and they look just fine. Trying to determine if my caliper is dragging or my right foot is heavier than my right grip.

I got around 10k out of my front ones OEM pads. I then bought a full set from Tim Breidenbach to replace (they were OEM). I now have 30k on the old girl, and she is due.

I use my front a lot, and its starting to squeak a bit... glad you noted that here.... I need to check them out....

Bobby sold a softer pad at one time. The grip was supposed to be really nice, but life was shorter.

I consider myself a heavy braker.... but I don't really seem to realize it.

If you don't wish to use the OEM's that the vendors have.... check out the cross references.... as there are a few that will fit.... maybe more life?

SBS 739, HS or LS... Get 'em off of a Vendor, E-Bay, Motorcycle parts books... Get a couple of sets as it's better to have them then to need them..
