009 to get a facelift
« on: June 26, 2015, 06:19:13 AM »
009 has been siting around long enough. In the next month or so I am going to bring it into the shop and first get it running properly then do a custom trike conversion on it.
Not only will it be the only EH ever triked it will be a Custom Endeavor Reverse trike.www.endeavortrikes.com
I already have ideas on fender style and general layout. The bike belongs to my brother in law who is not real fond of motorcycles but a big fan of the trike setup.

I just finished a Victory Kingpin which is surprisingly similar to the EH in many ways. The big challenge on the EH will be to find a rear hub that will accommodate a car radial. I may have to put the lathe to the test on that one.

Your workmanship is TOP FLIGHT!  Wow, but the Can-Am styling is a lot to get used to.  It seems like it needs a few unique touches to tie it into the OEM styling.  The Victorys look like they're almost there, but maybe more of a teardrop design on the Goldwings?

Are you planning on incorporating the springers into the Excelsior Henderson design?

I think the EH build will be more like the Victory but with the large bobbed fenders. No springer design as I still have to stick to the function part.
