note on the front ones there is a teeny tiny lil nubbin that the mounts hold straight on....
On mine, one is gone... but its purpose is to align the mount correctly... a floor jack comes in real handy to hold the weight of the engine front and rear...
some folks have had some real problems with the rears.... I haven't, but that doesn't mean I'm any good at it... but I have changed out 3 sets...
The problem some have come to... is the inner threaded rod that runs across from mount to mount.... some apparently just won't let go.... heard of one where they actually had to torch it out...
Again, the floor jack is your friend. And so is Kroil or what ever your penatrating oil preference is... the mount sits in a cup, with a notch in it, to hold its position (please recognize that, as I didn't the first time, the knob is on the frame of the bike, easy to miss).
Unbolt the allen heads... spray a bunch of slobber in there to lube it all up. Take a drift and pound thru (watch your threads) ... All this with it supported on the jack. With a bit of finaggling, the cups will come out once rod is removed. You'll possibly have to move the engine a bit side to side for clearance....
pretty much it... as a for thought.... maybe hit it with the penatrating oil a few days before you start.... maybe a few times.... I have had to take the drift and pound thru one direction and then back again, because of grime....
good luck... don't be shy to ask if you get cornered...
