| Comments: | "My wife couldn’t handle the bike, so she purchased a H-D. I was wondering if I could track it down and maybe purchase it. Turns out the dealer still had it but in real bad condition. Its back and I’m trying to breathe life back into her." - Keith Weuste - Keith Allen Weuste, my grandpa, owned 0400 and loved Excelsior-Henderson. He was an original shareholder. What he spoke about above was when he originally bought this bike on 04/13/1999 from Brenny’s Motorcycle Clinic in Bettendorf, IA. He later sold it. Keith found it again at Harley Davidson-Buell Cycle Center in Waterloo, IA. The Super X had practically been disassembled into boxes. Keith purchased it back on 06/28/2003. Keith reassembled 0400 and upgraded all the (then current) recommended modifications. I, Keiths grandson, now own 0400 in Shelbyville, TN. 0400 has all of the current updates performed by me and Valhalla Motor Works - Benjamin Keith Cobb _________ Keith Allen Weuste passed away April 6th, 2016 |
