Comments:Jamie sold me this bike; however I didn't buy it from him. Not long ago I saw a Discovery Channel program about motorcycles, which mentioned EH, and I saw the factory, and how they were made, and how the employees felt about what they were doing. I knew that a local dealer down the road from the Harley store sold something unusual. I drove by once when they were closed, and noticed he had Confederate bikes displayed. In the back of the showroom, too far away to see clearly, I saw two other different motorcycles. I went by the next Saturday, just two weeks ago today, and found out what a Super X is. I learned that, among several others, there was a crated one. In researching the bike, I noticed someone else in the Shenandoah Valley had one. After a conversation or two I decided to take the crated Henderson Blue the dealer had, the only crated one left. I took it to Jamie's today (2/16/2002) where he, Jumper, and I uncrated it... what an experience! It was more than I had expected; the color and paint are amazing. There was corrosion on most of the fasteners, which is disappointing, but not insurmountable, so if you get a crated one consider this possibility. Also, mice were quite comortable there for a while and peed on my shift linkage (mostly). I know this is exceedingly long for a comment, but I haven't told you the half of it. Inside of two weeks, I have a brand spanking new Henderson Blue Super X. I unwrapped it. My hind parts were the first to hit that saddle... our signatures on my crate, heh. This is the motorcycle experience I was looking for.
