Social/events report by Seastrom Had a fantastic trip to Kentucky.  Great riding in the area the red river gorge was nice. We had 5 that made the event, Frank, A.J., Greg, Mike, and Mike. Going to make stickers but had wrong ink. Getting ready for fall rally. Have only had 3 confirmed room reservations, at the home base of Amber Inn and Suites. Some may live close enough to not stay overnight here, planning is continuing for the rally, more to follow at next meeting. The Sturgis rally is coming, but nothing planned for that rally.

Service report by Jamie, Jamie had a bike from California, that needed repair, and was sent to him to repair, well its all fixed and ready to ride, which the owner is going to do. He is flying in to ride it home to California. Another owner from North Dakota sent a bike to Jamie to repair a locked-up engine, and Jamie has his bike ready to ride, and he is bringing his 17year old daughter with, and take the long way home, riding through the Smokies, Nashville, Memphis. Jamie’s point is you can ride these bikes, just like 20 years ago. Lock mentioned he rode 1433 down to Kentucky and back home.

Old Business Discussed the raffle, having it later in year. Phil mentioned donating his brass X belt buckle. More discussion in following meetings.

New Business. Seastrom discussed his purchase of parts from Dan. Two very loaded semi of parts brought to Arkansas. Have a lot of parts and has blessing from Dan to make anything we need to keep these bikes running for the 100 years, which was said when they were first built. Jamie is also in full support of this and will help in any way he can. A.J was contacted from Bruce Wytfut about using the EH website more. A discussion on that and getting more traffic that way for technical items, instead of Facebook. More discussion on getting more traffic to the website. Start promoting that in future correspondence with owners.

Next meeting August 28th 7:30 et.
