I found a cheap way to run the crank hose toward the back without kinking it shut.I used a distributor wire boot to make a 90deg. elbow. Drill or ream out the wire end until it fits the hose barb . The hose fits the terminal side, glue it in....done.[old 60's-70'stype dist. wire boot ,not the elec. ign. type.]     ,,,,,,,,, rod

that's slick.... really like that idea. may just switch over to your idea, instead of how I did mine...
