Been listening posts on the tilt swich issue.... # 1150   did some upgrades... put things back together and pushed starter button...lights work,fuel pump primed... no start...thought for a couple of days...mmmmm....bypassed handle bar switch w/ new...no go....tilt swicth ?? took it appart soldered the two pins after circuit board removal...put back togther... and boom...fired up ...I know it is suppose to break ignition circuit, but not starter...soooo   FYI  to everybody

I don't know about by-passing the tilt switch. "IF" you should ever drop your X and can't get to it in time, it could keep running and starve for oil thus ruining your motor. I guess that doing it for "test" purposes would be o.k., but for a "fix" I'd recommend not doing it.... Replace it with a new one.
Hmmm.. Just re-read your post... So you fixxed your tilt switch? It will still function should you drop the X? I'm so easily confused...
