Shock Tool?
« on: October 15, 2012, 03:46:06 PM »
Just wondering if anyone in X world can identify this tool. I got it with a bunch of EH parts I bought from a closed out dealer. I suspect it is a front shock spring compressor.

That does not look like any X tool that I know of. Does it have a Kent-Moore # on it? Or an SPX brand?

Jumper,
No numbers on it that I can find. The guy I got it from wasn't even sure if it came from the EH dealership and just threw it in with the stuff I bought.

Yeah... The Rear shock tool is like a spanner that grabs the hole and lets you go to notch by notch to load spring pressure. The front SPRING compressor is used to compress the Spring so you can mount the shock and install while Spring is compressed...
