Cracking has happened to a few X's.... Check Motor Mounts... A Smoother tune...

   I read somewhere that if your X is equipped with the slash cut exhaust, it vibrates at a frequency that causes the rear fender to crack, right side, a couple of inches below the rear of the fender bracket.
  I have always assumed this to be correct, because 741 has the slash cuts, and the crack.

Jake's blue has this crack...... No slash cuts or ever did.... Long shot guns....under 10kmiles. Still OEM mounts

I know some do it, but don't know why
