Wow Bob..... Tookit all the way down eh?

Well do you have the superxtuner on a computer? I'd be interstedto know what it reading.

Being I'd only know what Jamie has given me in past experiences for the the superxtuner/reader, I really recommend you give him a shot here. But I'll give it a shot, if you have that info.....

To me right off it sounds like the stepper may be an issue. Jamie visits this site time to time.... I'll put a bug in his ear....

Anyone else wanna jump in feel free to help Bob out!

Hey Bruce, I woke up with a bug in my ear this morning, very disconcerting.

Bob, What you describe can be caused by a lack of compression and I would test that first. But to be thorough also make sure that the O2 sensor, TPS and IAC are functioning properly. If you don't find anything out of spec. check the fuel pressure. Remember to hold the throttle wide open when conducting the compression test and do it when the engine is hot.

Outstanding.....    I suppose there is..... But for me it would require a bit of jerry rigging....

Being shade tree and all,  with no store bought testing equipment.... Hee hee hee

Maybe to test the pump while on the X, Make a pressure gauge/bleed off valve set up with about a foot or two of high pressure fuel line. bleed it back into the tank... Cycle the pump, record cut off pressures or see if the pump bleeds down when it builds up pressure. Also, there was a tool in the E-H tool kits that you could plug int the fuel pump plug and it would run the pump. Handy if you filled the tank up and THEN decided to pull the tank...
Just random thoughts..
