Yeah Jeff.
Different management since the renovations were completed.
Reservations have to completed before April 20th. to take advantage
of group discount. ($75 a night) otherwise the new rate for Friday & Saturday night is $125!!!
I guess they're pretty proud of the upgrades!

    Sorry, I am so used to posting pictures on FB these days, I often forget to share on this forum as well.
   There were only three of us Xers in attendance. Doug couldn't ride, his wing is still mending, so it was only Keith and I riding. We took a trip to Oatman one day, and did Harley demo rides another day. I had to cut my trip short due to personal issues, so we only really spent two days hanging out. Lots of fun, though! Here's Keith's Deadwood after unloading it from the trailer...he takes great care of it!

Cool deal! Any stories? Many people curious what they were or did you run into people who knew already?

   As usual, we drew some onlookers and answered the usual questions: Who makes it? Yeah, but who made the engine? and of course: Who makes it? It surprises me that there are so few in the motorcycle world who have heard of EH, they made a pretty good splash in the media when they came out. And you'd think at lease some of them would be familiar enough with the history of motorcycles in this country to be aware of the original pre-1931 EH. It always cracks me up when there are a dozen people gathered around the super-X, and nobody even glancing at the $50K custom chopper parked right next to it!

There wasn't ANYBODY who recognized them? Laughlin isn't really a motorcycle event as much as a biker event. Even still, I'd expect a few people who would recognize them.

Mike... Sorry for the low turn out... Not sure what the solution is.. I'd of been there if I was not working... I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm hoping to transition to a closer job to my house... 65 miles to D.C. and back 65 to Marshall... Wearing the fleet out..

No worries, Jumper! We still had fun, and showed off our Xes. That's what matters!
Being involved with a few motorcycle organizations, I know any event is unpredictable, even under the best circumstances. Things happen, and even the most die-hard riders often have to change plans at the last minute. Hopefully we'll see more next year at this event (including YOU!!)

Welp... The only "firm" dates I have are Maggie Valley in the Fall and Belle Plaine BBQ Days next July.
Other events will pop up and we'll have to make them happen. Glad a couple of Xer's made it... Heck.. Memorial Day and Rolling Thunder hit's D.C. next weekend... I may put my Brother on one of my X's and hit that...
