I've been watching the Cannonball official site since Jan,.....
but a few weeks ago, Dennis Bennet (south dakota) contacted me that the "rest day" for the cannonball will indeed be Dodge City Kansas... Dennis is an active member of the AMAA, who is volunteering some time at the cannonball.
We have some rooms reserved in 2 different Motels down there. It sounds like at this time for those of you with interest there are around 10 extra beds not spoken for....
At this point, these X owners have shown interest, and are doing to try and make the trip... Tim Dworak and his brother out of Seward Nebraska (R/O), Dennis Bennet outta south dakota (DWS), Jeff Brown outta Lincoln NebraXi (tribute X), Devin Nielsen outta Lincoln NebraXi (on our old Blu), Roger Hodge outta Broken Bow NebraXi (G/O), Darin Owens Omaha NebraXi (DWS), Ed Hatter Omaha NebraXi (G/O), Chad Arndt St. Jo Missiouri (Jennie), and others locally. PLUS interested again... Ken Bretz minnesota and Hotlanta, and Mike Locklear outta Cleveland....
If you are interested in attending with us silly flatlanders.... take note, you want to make a decision soon, as rooms are filling up. Besides the cannonball rolling thru, there is some sort of dog show in town at the same time...

I was contacted by my motel this week, asking about the cannonball and details. She stated they were just about full. YOU think you are going to attend, you may wish to decide now....
if you have never attended, its something to really see. Its fun going with a bunch of X owners besides.
