Oh good lord... I'm about ready to toss this tablet...

I went to their website, and did some reading. They obviously know what they are talking about! I am not sure I would buy a bike that they have not done the updates on. It also looks like there are several 'gotcha's' that can happen if the bike is not properly maintained. I might contact them and make an offer on the red/cream one. It looks a lot like the one I was looking at from the dealer.

Jamie/Marty are also a sort of hub that you can have an actual conversation....
Odds are old they know of a few for sale or maybe able to steer you in the right direction.

Are you on Facebook? A large group of active members of this community Arron there. I believe there are 3 Facebook pages devoted to Excelsior Henderson.

On yahoo... Click on yahoo groups in the search box... Then Excelsior Henderson resource board..... It's the only active EH site on yahoo that still is active.

All of these are limited access until you request to join. All are free.

I bring this up as this past week Jim kepford brought out one of the pages from his old super X site ("snowie"). That particular we page showed a very accurate illustration of things to look for on an X.
It was cool to see that page again (circa 2001-2008??)
I recommend that anyone that wants to be up to speed on their X join. Our can't have to contribute.... But a lot of these old salts have a lot of knowledge...

And just for knowledge.... There are on a guess around 100 very active members. 100 more semi active. And possibly 200 watchers. A large number of these folks are multi X owners.

If there are no X's on Ebay orCraigslist, try Adhuntr. Yes, I spelled it right. ;-) It searches CL by region or gives you everything.
For financing the good folks at Nationwide would be happy to finance your X at a reasonable rate. I know this from experience, the result of which is still in my garage and makes me smile every time I throw a leg over it.
