cross reference list

Hello All.....
I'm guessing every one like myself is itching to get back out riding...  I've got 3 bikes in the shop (2Xs).... and getting them ready for spring....

anyone interested, I know 2Xs personally that are up for sale locally here in NebraXi. One R/O and one G/O.

There has been some discussion in the past few months about the cross reference list on this site and the yahoo resource board site. ....
Discussion as to how much of these lists are actual.... 

I want to get a little bit of jump for a possible updated list.... and this is where I need your help...
I'd like each of you to take a gander at the list on both sites..... this one for sure. And email me with the parts you have actually had in your hand and then placed onto your X. And it worked.
For example... you used some HD crush washers..... on your banjo bolts. Then email me with your opinion and what it was that you used. If you have a part number.... the better.

Please take note, if you have found something that is not listed on either list but works.... let me know also.....

I'll keep badgering all of you for a while pretty regular here... so expect it.... I wish to really get this done.  To be honest, if some of these parts are not claimed by owners to work.... they are probably going to go bye bye....

Here's Februarys notice on the cross reference list....
I'm in need of your personal experiences with the cross reference parts... What worked what didn't.
I wish to have a tabulation of all of this in july... for an updated and corrected cross reference list.
John in England had contacted me.... which in turn perked up my attention, that not everything on that list works. Its looking like at this point a lot of the triumph parts do not...

Please let me know... also if you discovered anything that works that is not on the list... I wanna know...

Front Brake Switch Honda/Suzuki OEM # 35340-MM5-600, 35340-MA5-671, 35340-ML7-0, but I think that might already be on the list.

There are lots of things on that list we don't know so far actually do cross over...
I too have used that brake switch... Works great!

Loved all of you cross reference posts....
Just to let you know at this point I'm mostly interested in parts that will directly affect our bikes running down the road.....
So of your parts listed I believe can be found from multiple sources.... I.E. J and P, Kuryakin, etc.
I'm guessing down the road if folks are looking for accessories to put on their bike..... we may have to start another list...

I'm hoping with me prying this knowledge out of the communities heads monthly, that sometime by July, we will be pretty accurate.

I think Honda also uses our front brake light switch... I buy a couple at a time as they don't last too long with me... A couple of years... Cleaning them works sometimes...
