Indian flat track

Just read that Indian (ok, Polaris) is throwing its hat into the flat track arena.

My first thought was, wouldn't it be great to see Excelsior out there and a return of the big three on the track. ok, anyone have a spare motor they can sell me? Got to get working on this. ;-)

The guys that went on the daytona trip said the Indian ran very strong there at those races...   surprisingly so.... I don't remember the stats....
but it dominated the HDs....

That is surprising considering this is their first real year out there... but then again we're comparing a twin OH cam motor to tired old pushrod design. ;-)
