I'm sometimes a little bit over kill on some items...
for example, the battery cable issue, where I have ran over it, 90% of the time has been the positive. ...
No matter, I changed them both out.
I then ran heavy gauge ground wire (telephone braided grounds, insulated) from electrical box to case, and starter to case....
On the facebook page, Keith Nielsen, was going on about the case grounds and what/where they should be..... I can't argue with him, as I'm no electrical engineer. I just put them where it looked best use, as a retired telephone linesman...
I also believe with out talking to Marty, that would be a case ground. ...
My last order of battery cables was for Chads Jennie.... and they were much different than the hi dollar limp ones.... They worked fine.... but was under the impression the hi dollar limp ones were no longer availible, or owners weren't interested in paying for them....
don't matter.... they do need good cables... and good grounds...
